Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Ethernet Adapter Replacement for TV Stick 4K/Lite/Cube, Google Chromecast - Micro USB OTG Cable HUB with Power Boost by Cameron Head

Works great with Fire TV Stick 4K

I bought this OTG (On-The-Go) hub for my Fire TV 4K device to use an Ethernet internet connection with it. I was having wireless connection issues with my Fire TV Stick 4K even though the Fire TV was almost next to a wireless router. Fire TV often showed "Home Screen Unavailable" and had to restart. After using this OTG hub, I didn't notice any connection issues. Hub size: 3.74 x 0.94 x 0.59 inch, it has three USB ports, one Ethernet port and one power port to connect the power adapter. There is a small micro USB cable on one end of the hub that needs to be plugged into the device. The hub also has LEDs inside the case that light up when the Ethernet cable is connected. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY THIS HUB1. While I'm happy with this product and this hub has performed well so far, the build quality of the device doesn't really feel solid. The micro USB cable was plugged into the hub at an odd angle and doesn't really show up well on this product.2. I really wish the power cord and the micro USB cable connected to the hub were longer for the convenience of placing the hub.3. As this is an OTG hub, the USB ports are USB 2.0 only and the Ethernet data transfer rate is limited to 10/100M. So far, this hasn't caused me any problems when streaming videos on Fire TV.4. You will need your own ethernet cable (if you want to use an ethernet connection) and a USB power adapter, although a USB power cable is included with this hub. SETUPSetting up this hub was relatively easy, requiring only three connections.1. Power supply: This hub comes with a USB power cable, but you need a USB power adapter. One end of the cable is a coaxial power connector that plugs into a hub. The other end of the cable is a regular USB connector that plugs into a USB power adapter.2. Micro-USB: On one end of the hub is a micro-USB cable that connects to the micro-USB port of the USB device you want to connect. In my case, I connected the micro-USB cable to the Fire TV's micro-USB port. This cable also powers the device (Fire TV)3. Ethernet: You need your own Ethernet cable. There is an Ethernet port on one side. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into a hub and the other end into a Wi-Fi router, modem, or switch that provides an Internet connection. Inside the hub are LEDs that light up and are visible through the plastic case when the Ethernet cable is properly connected.
