Oh My God! This sticky foam saved a life! I worked really hard converting my wooden mounts to velcro mounts and used the material to attach to the window. While it worked, it wasn't what I was looking for in the transformation. Converted stamps look just like regular stamps with this sticky foam! The foam has good cushioning and is about the same thickness as standard die foam. The glue is strong enough. I just converted all my stamps so I'm not sure how long this will take, but it looks like it's going to last quite a while for all the stamps I was able to completely erase before converting. Decent enough on the stamps, I was itching to clean it completely. Speaking of how sticky the glue is, I ended up with a hot knife because the glue messes up my scissors pretty easily. (This also allowed me to crop the marks more accurately). Finally, I was able to use ink pens to stamp the sticky side of the styrofoam, placing the image of my stamp on the side of the styrofoam that I attach to the clear block mount so I can see it while stamping. I wouldn't use other inks as they don't dry well. Stay on ink works great! Speaking of the hook side, their hooking ability is far superior to the material I used for this transformation project. Overall, I am VERY happy with the quality of this sticky foam and the end results of my stamp-on-wood mount project!
