Review on Sony Cybershot DSC-T700 Grey Digital Camera - 10MP with 4x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization by Craig Kumar

I'm a big believer in aesthetics and that's one of the only reasons I bought this camera. Elegant brushed aluminum body, glossy 3.5" touchscreen display and slim profile. Basically I needed a decent sub-compact point and shoot camera and when I first saw the T700 in store I knew it was the one for me. Optics. I've seen plenty of complaints from other reviewers, but they look absolutely fine to my unexperienced eye. I have a 22" HD monitor and the photos look great. But then again, I've only been taking close-up shots of friends and family. There aren't any landscapes yet, but again, I plan on using a DSLR for those kinds of shots. I have I've also read complaints that the T700 is weak in low light, but I took a few shots in a dark nightclub and the shots came out perfectly. The flash is nice and bright. However, the battery life will disappoint you. I don't think so that I need an extra camera because it's nothing more than a regular camera to me.But if you plan to take it on vacation and use it all day, be prepared for an expensive paperweight.The camera has lots of fun little features It has a cool slideshow/scrapbook app that you can add preloaded music to It you can use the included stylus to write on photos e.g and save them with editing on the huge 4GB internal memory. The smile detection works pretty well. I even pointed the camera at my TV and tracked the faces and found a smile on them too. As for the cons, I can only name a few as I've only had the camera for about a week with limited use. The LCD is obviously a fingerprint magnet. Buy a screen protector and it should be fixed. The touch screen does not always respond immediately, some may find it difficult. Hm? It's really mine. I mean I bought it for the looks so everything else is just an added bonus. I was aware of the flaws before I bought it. I love it. If you're looking for a compact car that looks sleek and takes pretty decent photos, I recommend this one. I hope my review has helped.
