bought it for bad weather to make it more visible for blind drivers. It's very bright and has some decent flash patterns. The magnets are good and should hold at highway speeds. There are holes that power cords go through that don't have a grommet or seal so I wouldn't hold my breath for this to last long if hit by heavy rain. I took a black Rvt and filled the holes to protect the wire from chafing and seal it from water. I honestly don't know how often I use it, but when I do, the weather must be really bad. I will update when I use it and how it works. UPDATE: I used it for testing today. this morning it was 24 degrees and the magnets held up great, even though there was a layer of frost on the roof. They stopped at 75 mph and had really good light output. I ran 4 hours straight and he didn't miss a beat. I am impressed.
