Let's start with the good points of this product; It's difficult at best to find an original PS Vita with such an ergonomic design. There is a very good slim variant made out of much better materials but when I ordered it it was listed for the original Vita and clearly wasn't true. This grip also costs $80 plus dollars while being much more affordable. Another good review for this grip. What is questionable at best about this product far outweighs the above benefits and I will explain why; It's cheap plastic, feels good (despite the price), the lock is fiddly, and while it locks, it completely restricts access to the charging port. The protrusion at the top of the handle, which is supposed to hold the Vita's edge in place without snagging on the screen, doesn't work either. As a result, the handle does not "grab"/close your Vita. So it's for you if you want the ergonomic benefits of this grip but don't expect it to hold your original Vita securely and don't expect quality materials. If you are looking for a similar ergonomic grip I would suggest looking elsewhere. If you find one that works and is better designed please comment everyone who is looking including me! Otherwise, your options are limited to 3D printing. Thank you and happy gaming everyone!
