For hanging 3 cast iron pots, 2 hooks per pot, on the outside end wall of the cabinet. 1 hook each for lighter aluminum non-stick pans. Screwing in was easy, no pre-drilling required. It made sense to mount double-thick cabinet walls (wall paneling), buy additional screws. After using the screw to make the hole, I cut off the sharp tip of the screw so it doesn't get into the case. Alternatively, you can use pan head mounting screws to go through the side of the case if your sides aren't double thick. Just make sure the mounting methods can support the intended load. The hooks themselves are very strong.
