Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

At first, the 2022nd year was put on the previous disk. The system was a complete and utter failure. After I removed it and replaced it with a WD red disk, the device's performance significantly improved. Whoever makes the decision to purchase, I advise them not to be greedy but rather to purchase the disk that is recommended (for nas, it is printed on the red series). With its positives being: 1) A low usage of power under constant conditions 2) A wide variety of customizable options for using

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Excellent stuff; I don't know how I managed in the past without having it. I had every intention of putting together a server on my own, but after learning about all of the OS configuration dances, etc., I've decided that I'd rather buy one already put together. Access to various forms of media from any location in the home or the outside world. We watch movies on the television with the use of wifi; this eliminates the need to move around and download content to various storage devices. I set…

Pros
  • There was no need to break out the tambourine because all that was required was inserting the hard drive and pressing a few buttons. An operating system with excellent agility, stability, low power consumption, small size, and absence of noise.
Cons
  • The power supply emits a beeping sound, but the noise does not disrupt the operation of the server because it is housed in a corridor within a casing. Support for curved text. The same text guide as keenetic was what I anticipated receiving. The guide did not make it clear to me how to elevate my site; but, I was able to figure it out on my own as I went along.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Those that need to deploy an archive that can be accessed from anywhere in the world should definitely consider purchasing it. It's not hard at all to accomplish this goal. I use an internal WD RED 6 TB drive. When copying a large number of data, a very modest cooler (it is much smaller than in versions that support two disks) ensured that the hard drive did not exceed 32 degrees Celsius in temperature. In the not too distant future, I might consider installing a couple of IP cameras on it. I…

Pros
  • dependable applications with consistent updates. Super quick machine. Since moving away from a single-core ds216se, everything runs much more quickly. It used to rest on the controller, and the highest speed possible was 66 MB per second; however, the web interface is not stupid, and there is no ceiling on the gigabit network. Video recording with 4K and 60 frames per second with no issues caused by GoPro twists. The use of Plex.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I had the fundamental idea to mount video from it, however the connection speed is so slow that it is essential to copy the data first. Even if I had to go through some more hoops, I am really pleased with the product. Has pros: He is incredible! Everything works like clockwork. Downloads files frequently from, but torrents are not recommended because there is already a router for this purpose. Below are some downsides: Due to the fact that the router provides just a 100 Mbit connection to the…

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

It serves 90% of my needs. In the beginning, I required a network drive for my laptop, a drive for Time Machine backups, access to files outside of the home network, and storage for images. All of these problems can be overcome in principle with relatively minor adjustments. Disk access over the local area network is quick enough for typical office use; there are no lags due to transmission delays over cable or wireless. The time machine located the disk without any delay; everything was…

Pros
  • Rapid installation requiring nothing in the way of expertise. The leading application in the market. Well-planned, or at least with a good deal of planning that facilitates use.
Cons
  • Rapidity is disheartening. Either limit your use of accessible services or have the patience of a Tibetan monk. It was to be expected, yet a part of me secretly wished for a passable rate of travel.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

This NAS is comparable to WD in my opinion. My storage on the cloud in a few different methods; 1. The swiftness and well-considered design of the website's user interface. The shell that comes with Synology is both quicker and much easier to use. At this point, WD is standing on the sidelines smoking anxiously. 2. There are three tutorials on the official representative's YouTube channel that will allow even the most dim-witted person to install a Synology network attached storage device. If…

Pros
  • The optimal balance among cost, functionality, and software support offered by the product.
Cons
  • LEDs on the front that are really bright.

A good product, I advise you to try it.

Buying is something I highly encourage doing. I was able to save 15 kopecks by taking advantage of discounts. The price in the market fluctuates quite a bit; be on the lookout for it. Below are some advantages: Overall an excellent device! Real personal server. For everyone who wishes to get your storage, office system, instant messenger, file downloads, images, and a lot more organized on their personal cloud. Everything was set up quite competently, software was suggested by Synology, there…

The average product, you can find a better one.

after reading the reviews, I bought. purchased for Plex. My first NAS was this one. In two days of usage, 1080p "buffered" just once on Plex. eliminated a sluggish UI and sluggish torrents. This NAS only increases 15 Mbps, while the computer drags 25 to 30 Mbps. That is sad. I already replaced it with an Asustor AS4002t because it works and pumps much more quickly. Additionally, for some reason, the hard drive in the asustor cracks less. I'll return the Synology DS118 to the shop tomorrow.

Pros
  • compact and effective
Cons
  • Slow interface, freezing, and slowly downloading torrents. The entire apartment's hard disk is crumbling.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

I will add. After some time: 1. Customers with a price of 500 Mbps require a more strong US connection. I was able to achieve a maximum download speed of 35 MB per second. The output is not taken out by the processor. 2. Either the cooler or the motherboard was the source of the problem. The fan will halt for a moment before starting up once more. At this time, it is only possible to operate with the profile that has been set to maximum fan performance. At several other profiles, there are…

Pros
  • 1. Since the model is still fairly new, the support for it should be satisfactory. 2. One of the most productive and cost-effective NAS options for a single drive. I no longer require it for use in my home. 3. An interface that is easy to use. 4. Decent speed.
Cons
  • It seems that the interface is a little slow, but because I did not have any other NAS devices, there is nothing to compare it to.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

In general, I am very satisfied. Has some pros: Compared to my previous ds110j - four cores and ddr4 in this version, an unrealistically fast NAS option! It pumps in, loads with a bullet, everything is set up and works like clockwork. Black matte color (stylish, fashionable, youthful) Some cons: No fine-tuning of Download Station, no bypass blocking. To put a third-party Transmission, you need to dance with a tambourine. Cloud station has been stupid lately with .disk, well, more precisely, is

The server was purchased mainly as a wireless hard drive to work on a laptop, because. wires when connecting external drives via usb constantly interfered. If you are interested in the device as a media server, then read the specification. But she's impressive. Video from GoPro H265 4k 60FPS can be viewed without problems. There are applications for working with media-video libraries. Like "FS client" for Win10 and "HD VideoBox" for Android. Initially, I purchased an external MyPassport drive…

Pros
  • Operating system! You can watch the demo on the official website The ability tocomnnect Wi-Fi "whistle" and its simplecomnfiguration. Possibility of automaticcompying from mediacomnnected to usb. App store. The ability to automatically start downloading torrents when they are uploaded to acomnfigured folder. Cloud sync. Configuring accesscomntrol to folders between users. For example, guest access without a password can be limited to certain folders, and the rest will be hidden. If something is deleted, then this, if desired, can becomnfigured to fly into the trash, which the user will not even see, thinking that everything has been deleted. The ability to share files by link, as in any cloud service. Access files from an external or local grid.
Cons
  • Own OS on yandra Linux and very stripped down. In general, competent and comfortable. But it's like if you do not like iPhones for their limitations and sit on Android because of its flexibility. For standard purposes - everything is super. But you expect flexibility from Linux. And if you yourself do not know how to compile, then it will be difficult to add something non-standard. Although, on the forums, people even posted a scrobbler for Lastfm. There is not enough opportunity to install a full-fledged browser.

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

This device is simple to install and configure. I didn't need this, however savvy people can make several accounts and define access permissions for them. If, like me, you only require a network drive for data storage with shared access, then you will receive everything you need right out of the box (assuming no one has canceled the login and password, of course). All that is left to do is map the network drive using specific apps and install the OS, which happens automatically the first time…

Pros
  • Simple to install Easy of use
Cons
  • brief cords not enough directions On the cover, there is no thread. Speed

Buy it now, it just works!

As a photographer, I used up my laptop storage (250GB) and 500GB of additional external storage, so after watching some YouTube videos, I decided to use the Synology DS418 as a solution to this problem. Purchase: - Reliable - Price - Hot-Swap - Link Aggregation - Easy Setup - Four bays minimum a significant amount of time. There is a USB port on the back, as well as 2 x 1GB LAN ports (link aggregation compatible) and a USB port on the front. There are four compartments that are accessible from…

Why didn't I have a NAS before? I mean I did it once but it was LaCie and I stopped using it because it doesn't support cloud backup. then I tried PogoPlug and it was a disaster. That's great. I have OneDrive through Office365, Dropbox for free, and Revain Drive (currently the 1TB option). All of my videos in my iTunes library are on Revain Drive and my Windows files are on OneDrive. Important files are in Dropbox because it is the most reliable. With the CloudSync app I was able to install on…

Very happy with the computers and accessories

I've used Western Digital MyCloud products for TimeMachine backups on our Macs - WD products have never been particularly stable as a network backup destination. When one of the WDs died I decided to invest in an (admittedly more expensive) Synology DS418 and I'm very glad I did. Setup was easy and TimeMachine backups from multiple Macs run very smoothly (Tips: SHR volume. A shared TM folder. A "user" on the Mac with quota. Make the first backups one at a time!). The only thing to note is that…

Blazing fast, feature-packed NAS

All in all, this is an incredibly powerful NAS and if you buy one you won't be disappointed! I've been looking for a replacement for my Drobo FS NAS for several months. I considered just buying a newer version of Drobo, but I was never happy with the read/write speeds. One feature I really liked was their BeyondRaid technology, which, among other things, allowed me to mix and match drive size, speed, and manufacturer in the same disk array without sacrificing capacity. However, the number of…

solid product. Couldn't be happier.

I tried several different storage solutions for home and family small businesses, but none of the solutions I tried worked as advertised and didn't meet my needs. To be honest it was my decision to go for a budget solution since $400 for a NAS and then another $4 to $500 for at least drives puts a lot of money into it. I can't describe how happy I am that I did this. This is a solid product. I can't talk about using a media server as I haven't had time to test these features yet, but for a…
