Excellent stuff; I don't know how I managed in the past without having it. I had every intention of putting together a server on my own, but after learning about all of the OS configuration dances, etc., I've decided that I'd rather buy one already put together. Access to various forms of media from any location in the home or the outside world. We watch movies on the television with the use of wifi; this eliminates the need to move around and download content to various storage devices. I set up Plex, but I didn't perceive much convenience. The downloading of torrents is a very convenient option. You travel to your destination using public transportation, think of a movie, download a torrent on your phone, and then use DS get to upload the file to a server. I recently purchased a router that has a gigabit connection for it, and the rate at which data are uploaded via LAN is between 60 and 70 megabytes. A UPS is also required for it.
