Pretty neatly designed. Simply twist the rod to create suction. Stronger than typical clear rubber discs which for this reason need to be wetted to adhere. I use them to hang my towel and bathmat, although the latter can get quite heavy when wet (compared to a washcloth). So far so good, but only for a few days. What I don't like is that they are expensive. Didn't realize they were plastic. I assumed there would be some sort of metal component since 1) they are "oiled bronze" and 2) I didn't see any mention of plastic in the description. But after re-reading the description, I saw no mention of its composition at all. That was my fault, but still they should give an idea of what they are made of. This is the only product I could find that matched what I needed so I had to go for it. I think they will probably last but the price is quite high for two small pieces of plastic and some rubber made in China. I will update my review in a few months.
