It is a tradition in my family to give children's rings to every child that is born: they are passed on from mother to daughter and are worn either on the little finger or on a chain around the neck. It's something she will keep long after her kids have left home! My grandmother died with two rings on her chain. and the rings were given to their young. Because we believe in newborn christening, the baby wears it on a ribbon for the occasion and then gives it to the mother, but this can be done in any way that suits you. The quality of this ring is amazing and both of my girls are still wearing them. After five years they are still shiny and look like new. (Every once in a while they get a little wipe down with a cloth, but what decorations don't need attention every once in a while?!?! :) but what decorations don't need attention every now and then?!?! :) but what decorations don't need attention every now and then?!?! :)
