This set is a lot of fun! Even my two year old granddaughter was able to assemble the rides. We have a lot of fun playing together. I was able to take a few extra pieces and make a bowl for the marbles. With two green boards, two children can build separately at the same time. My painting consists of 97 parts included in the set.

I love this set! It's a shame that Duplo didn't release its own marble bridge. So glad I found this set as it is Duplo compatible. I can combine the two light green baseplates from this set with my green duplo plate to increase my playing area. It also includes instructions for creating multiple marble paths. It is also a good learning tool. My 3 year old was able to put several pieces together to get the ball going. Even Batman and the Penguin agree that watching the ball races is fun!

Yes, it is compatible with Duplo LEGO. But they are NOT EXACTLY the same as Lego. Photo shows: Blue from this set with central round connector; the yellow is the duplo block and you can see the circle has small indentations in the circle. These little indentations make a big difference in how snugly the pieces fit together. This set mimics the duplo well, but they just don't connect as securely. I would recommend this marble walkway! From looks alone, assume this is for 3-5 year olds. The details are the same as Lego Duplo (feel, strength and grip). The kit is good for what it is. My kids love it so much which is actually part of the problem. I am disappointed because the image of this item is misleading. This has clearly been changed to give the impression that the balls/balloons supplied with the kit are larger than they actually are. I bought this for my 5 year old for his birthday because he was obsessed with watching marble races on youtube. I really like that these are kids Legos and you can attach them to the base which makes it easy to track, move and replace lost pieces. We spent hours building mazes for him.
