Conclusion: This water filter is a complete piece of Chinese garbage. If you want your home or office to be flooded then make the same mistake we did by ordering this product. Our item broke twice, each time for a different reason, flooding the kitchen both times. Installation was pretty easy, we hooked it up to an existing plumbing line with a quick coupler. Our first problem came when the OEM plumbing ruptured. This is inferior cord that swells like a water balloon before breaking. To fix this we changed the pipe to HDPE which was a good decision. The second problem was when the case broke for no apparent reason about 1 month after the end of the return period, so no return was made. The attached picture shows what happened to the case. If you're stupid enough to buy this device because it's so cheap, buy a pressure reducing valve or something.
