Review on πŸ’‘ Outdoor Security Light with 60 Watt Equivalent Activation by Brian Davis

50% bulb power

Don't believe the positive reviews. I placed one in a lightbulb socket in an open area in my basement above the clothes dryer and the other in the small room where my 6ft wide oil tank is kept. The one above my dryer worked great and shut off after about 30 seconds. The one in the small room didn't turn off at all. I left the toilet door open to see if that would make a difference and closed it. He passed out, just like before. I slammed the door and waited a very long time, looking through the crack around the door, the light was still on. I even tried changing two lightbulbs with the same result. I wanted to love them but couldn't keep them after buying them mainly for my basement oil room. People don't have to realize that they never turn off, which explains the good reviews, because they're always looking at the light. It's a bit weird how people don't realize they never switch off. They are darker than expected. Luckily I was able to start the return.

Pros
  • ENERGY SAVING: This touch light is much more energy efficient than traditional bulbs, it turns on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. Unlike other products, it has dual 360-degree sensors to detect daylight from all directions. (Switching on below about 15 lux and off above about 40 lux)
Cons
  • Very expensive
