Well this food didn't work for my dog, to say the least. He is a senior laboratory technician and sometimes no longer cares about his dry food. I've found that adding a few tablespoons of wet food to his food gets him excited. The two brands I had previously used were well tolerated but he was getting bored with them so I went looking for something else. This canned wet food had really good reviews and ate its dry food with no problems, so I pulled the trigger. If you think like this, everything will be fine. Well, not everything was good! He gulped down his breakfast when I added it to his meal. (I added a quarter can, more or less.) I mean, he ate like he was three years old! That made me happy because I was worried that he wouldn't eat or only eat very little these days. He finished his meal and everything seemed fine. I had no premonitions or signals about the coming crisis. When it came time for dinner, he ate like a champ and I relaxed for about an hour. Now my dog hangs out in my little home studio most of the time. . His bed is there, as are my instruments, cases, amps and all other music equipment. So I'm working on something with my headphones on and all of a sudden I hear this loud patter on the floor. A second later, the smell hit me. At this point the dog started running around my small studio room with explosive diarrhea; like diarrhea full of shells. I'm panicking, but I'm also stuck because he locked me in too, shitting almost all over the floor between me and the only door out of the room. Just so you know, there was a rug in that room! It wasn't carpeted, but it took up most of the room. Yes, in the past tense. Eventually I stepped on him but in the end I managed to drag him out of the room, grab his leash and lead him outside. When I went back inside to assess the damage, I found his diarrhea was on the dog bed, the rug, one of my slippers, the effects pedal, the guitar cable, and the bass cabinet. There was also a path leading from this room to the kitchen and down the back stairs to the yard. It was really awful and it smelled so bad it made my sinuses hurt! After that he had four more cases of this horrible demonic diarrhea. Not even white rice helped! Once that food was eliminated from his system, his number 2 went back to normal and the accidents stopped. Needless to say I stopped giving him this food after this happened! So I got 11 cans of this food here, I left out the cost of the food which was $23 plus change from what I remember and I had to spend hours cleaning. Also, some things were just thrown away because I couldn't clean them properly. I will never buy this wet food again. If you have an older dog, I would advise you to be careful when approaching him.
