I love this curling iron. Yes, it's modern in the sense that it doesn't have clips and is wireless, but once you charge it, you can take it anywhere. I use a heat resistant glove to curl my hair almost to my shoulders and it's amazing - the temperature range is pretty wide 100-500 so it took me a while to find the perfect setting for my hair texture - but this applies to every new styling tool I try. I also have a matching carry case which I think makes it a dream set (zipped bag that fits the iron, my glove and some other accessories). look "upside down".
