My 2nd set. Water Resistant.
Just recieved my 2nd set of these. I bought my 1st set last year for a trip on Kodiak Island at the end of November. Extreme trekking covering creeks, near vertical climbing, snow, rain, and thick alders. This was extreme trekking. The crew i was with had Kuiu Gaiters. In comparison my lower foot straps tore but they stayed functional and kept my Zamberlan boot tops dry even under water submersion. The Kuiu Gaiters from the other guys also has tearing and ripping failures. For the cost and the extreme use-would buy and use again.
