Not a bad product, quite normal quality.
This compact's main benefit is a powerful zoom in a compact chassis. Because of this, taking it is worthwhile. Mobile phones lack optical zoom, while high zoom lenses for DSLRs are enormous. The compact therefore fills its purpose. However, just photograph during the day. has various benefits: large zoom. decent macro. An acceptable video. There are a few effects that could be useful, such the thumbnail effect. Cons are: photo quality comparable to that of cell phones. With the Canon SX260, I haven't seen it advance, yet cell phone cameras are always improving. Evening photography isn't very good, but many soap dishes have the same issue.
