ATTENTION! Initially we were very pleased with what appeared to be a high quality product. Its magnet kept it from moving slightly, the slider works well and is easy to read at a glance even from a distance. What can go wrong? A little over a year later, we discovered that the surface of our expensive Bosch dishwasher, which we bought a few months before this dirty-clean magnet, was rusted and damaged. See photos of damage to both the dishwasher and the magnetic surface. The product can be improved by laminating the magnetic surface in such a way that moisture does not penetrate between it and the surface of the dishwasher. Water naturally drips here when wet hands reach for opening and closing the dishwasher. I would not buy this indicator again, or any other magnetic indicator, until I am certain that the magnetic surface is laminated to protect it and the dishwasher. If I could go back and NOT buy it I would.
