Still looking for a decent case that will last more than a year or two. I had high hopes for this, but it's no better than others I've tried. In less than a year (the mildest, sunniest, and driest Northern California "winter" we've ever had), the tip has become very weak and breaks easily. I installed it in the fall and when I came to photograph in March it had a decent hole at the top and there was nothing sharp next to the hole. One of the webbing straps, exposed to heavy sun exposure, has become so weak and brittle that it broke at the slightest pull. About 10 pounds of pull caused it to fall apart along its entire length. The search continues.
