There's still room for a hard phone case or a larger phone, but you'll have to check that out for yourself. The rest of the bag is a very roomy wallet with credit card slots, a zip pocket and space for more cash and checks than I've ever needed to carry around. It doesn't offer much space for cosmetics, so it's not an adequate replacement for a woman's purse. But it's small enough to fit in a traditional women's treasure bag. My only negative comment is that the phone case strap takes more force to close the phone's glass panel than I find comfortable, although I've done this a few times on my phone with no major problems and it can come loose a little with Use. But I would be more comfortable with a velcro strap. My wife didn't like the basic over the shoulder design. I recommended that she wear it for a day or two, but I suspect she just felt like she was giving too much advice. I still give you 5 stars. I personally would use this bag if I didn't have bags. This option is very attractive, but for work I could have chosen a more restrained pattern.
