The scissors were misaligned and therefore did not even close. I've taken the scissors apart a few times to adjust the tension screw and it didn't help at all. They were of no use at all. They also had someone's fingerprints (approximately). The troubleshooting video link included in the package was completely useless and only showed opening and closing a pair of scissors.
