I am very happy with these puppies. They have an amazingly clear and crisp sound. Even up to the maximum volume (which they have in abundance), the sound remains very clear. The soundstage is about as good as IEM can get, but not as good as a good pair of headphones or studio monitors. My Sennheiser HD599se, for example, produced a much wider sound while still being accurate. The only stumbling block was the lack of extended bass response. As for the Studio Edition, I've read that it does, but didn't expect such a lack. The reason I keep them is because of the crystal clear sound which is fun to wind up and melt into a good song. The memory foam earmuffs are amazing. These are the most noise canceling headphones I've ever owned. Everyone else is fine. They are either a little uncomfortable or loosen up during exercise. All in all a great purchase. Try them and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. If you want/like a little more bass I would recommend buying the non-studio version.
