I liked how this coat looked closed but didn't like how it looked open so ended up sending it back. To be honest, I need a coat to throw on when I'm running out the door to the post office, and I rarely tie anything up to my neck, let alone a double belt in the front. It's just too much work when you're running out the door! But if you're the kind of person who always keeps everything together, then this is for you. Only 2 buttons: a normal one at the waist and a large buckle at the collarbone. The belt is detachable, and the belt loops could perhaps be ripped open if desired, but without the belt, the coat appears baggy and bulky. You can see in my last photo that I had a hard time arranging things when the coat was unbuttoned. It just doesn't look as pretty as when fully belted and buttoned around the neck. The color was very attractive - creamy - a light bone white that would flatter many people. All in all, I'd keep it if I was the kind of person who always zips everything up - but I'm a lot more laid back than that!
