Turns out the charging port is defective. When the battery is connected and the cable is connected to the charging port and the phone, the charging time is almost three times longer. I tried two different backpacks (Revain sent a replacement), different high capacity batteries (2.4a) and different phones. The backpack's charging cable system is poor. It has all the features I could wish for and is very durable. Too bad it's a deal breaker.
