bad review of this review timely. This tire has smaller lugs than I expected, during my research/review they looked bigger. However, the knobs are positioned in such a way that the tire has a good contact patch and excellent grip! I've driven the tire for a few minutes and I think the compound(s) are very sticky, but I've read that they last longer than expected. That's good news, I'll report my findings. I can say without exaggeration that this tire comes out on top compared to the similar design and purpose of the Maxxis Aggressor. when the company develops an xc tire that wants to get a little wilder when trail riding, the vittoria hits the mark. 150mm travel trail bike FASTER. On my local jump line I noticed a noticeable difference in speed compared to the DHR/DHR combo I changed to these. I've now ridden these tires at Snow Summit, loose on hard (dry) at my local and after a few rainy days. They last well, are predictable and to be honest I'll be getting another set later this year when I build my GG Trail pistol. I would recommend the Vittoria unreservedly and out of the Schwalbe, Minions and a few other Maxxis tires these are by far the best. spread the word vittoria has it in common. 5 Stars!
