Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't. The product is lightweight as it is a paper-covered cardboard box attached with dowels and tape. So far this serves the purpose I intended. I use it to store cat food. The half wall protects our big dog from food. The cats seem to love it and only need to be shown where the food is once. I'm glad I bought a separate litter box cabinet as I'm not sure how well this cabinet will hold up to any type of moisture. I keep water on the floor in front of the closet. I had an issue during the build when flipping a sidebar. The panels only fit together one way so I would recommend doing a test fit before removing the paper strip from the tape. Total build time was 20 minutes max including fixing my mistake. I think I like this product but I'll reserve final judgment until we've used it for a while.
