This product is exactly as described, if you read the product description it absolutely says it is high quality fashion board. Once assembled, it appears to be real wood. Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't. The product is lightweight as it is a paper-covered cardboard box attached with dowels and tape. So far this serves the purpose I intended. I use it to store cat food. The half wall protects our big dog from food. The cats seem to love it and only need to be shown where the food is once. I had high hopes for this product. It looks great, and it seems sensible enough to do it yourself with a flexible gasket to seal it. Unfortunately, the cabinet is so poorly assembled that it is completely unusable. The entire unit is made from "Z-Board” which is essentially corrugated board with a wood veneer.
