REVISION 05/28/19: My initial review was extremely negative because I gifted these cables to someone who used them on their devices. THE PROBLEM IS PERSONAL THE DEVICE IS NOT IN THE CABLES. I brought them home and decided to try them out on some of my devices and they play well. There is no popping or mute noise. The person I gave it to is "tyrannical" - you know those people who plug their cords into their devices and then have to buy new devices because the connectors get damaged. "We apologize to everyone who was bothered by my initial review. These cables also work perfectly.
