Pros:Durable stitching, zippers, material and structure - looks nearly new after two years of use.Thoughtful compartment and pockets - I'm able to carry with me and easily access my slr camera/zoom lens (in functional carry case) while not having it in the way during office work. The top compartment is great for accessing a large collection of small things. Other pocket are also placed we'll for eaee of access, including more secure travel doc pocket at back that doubles as a slip sleeve for holding on suitcase handle.Useful accessories - essential cable access port, stretchy water bottle pocket, anchor ribbons and rings on straps, more anchor straps under backpack to hold yoga mat, etc.Padded, breathable and comfortable to wear (waist strap if you want to use). It can be packed to balance and sit up on own.Cons - the laptop compartment is snug. I fit my surface pro, bluetooth keyboard and padded sleeve in the compartment, but there is no room to spare.I highly recommend this backpack for amauter photographer and/or remote worker/traveler.
