I like that they are strong, light and transparent. I don't feel like I need to worry about overpaying for the weight of my bag and my cashiers had absolutely no problem reading PLUs on my products. The only complaint I have is that I wish they had some sort of switch to help them stay up without having to tie a knot in the rope. However, this is not a problem for me at all; I am in love with these bags and would definitely recommend them to my friends. UPDATE: I finally tried using them when shopping for bulk grains and legumes! The mesh isn't fine enough for things like polenta (the powder will fall through), but it's perfect for beans and other large grains! I've found the maximum capacity is about 10 pounds of pinto beans, for example. The bags held up really well to this use; although I have to admit I felt safer sealing the opening with a rubber band when there was something that heavy inside. Overall I think it worked!
