I built my own entertainment center and needed to child proof it so it didn't have as much ventilation as I would like. These fans allowed me to set up forced circulation to keep my expensive components from overheating. Pros: These things are quiet. When the TV is on, I can't hear them running. When it's off, it's almost a whisper. Each thermal control unit can control 4 fans. That means they could have only included one, but they gave you two for added versatility. This also means you can expand your system by purchasing additional fans of your choice (standard computer fan headers) and connecting them to any sensor. I only used one of the sensors to make sure both fans were turning on and off at the same time (one set to push air in, the other to pull air out). Set up was as easy as you can imagine. Cut a hole and install a fan. Everything you need was there. Cons: The kit included two extension cords for connecting sensors to power. Both cables have bent pins. I managed to connect one of them. However, since I only used one temperature sensor, I didn't need a cable or splitter. Still an important piece of kit if you're doing a more advanced setup, which is why I gave it one star.
