I've been keeping female rats for about 10 years and every time I move to a different apartment it seems like the rats need to be placed closer and closer to the main living quarters. Now that I have a toddler and I'm trying to graduate, it's getting harder and harder to find time to clean out the rat cage where my baby isn't around to play with dirty bits (I take up the whole kitchen when I'm pretending). and clean). I started putting some of this Bi-Odor in their water and for the first few days the rats couldn't get enough of it (it must have a unique taste) and I found myself changing the water after two days. After that, they calmed down and drank water at a normal rate. I cleaned the cage a week after adding this product and forgot to clean it for at least two weeks after that! With regular litter changes, I could live almost 4 weeks without necessarily having to clean the rat cage, although after 3 weeks it became more comfortable to clean. Taking care of a friend's rats when he went to Norway for a month, it was a life saver! While I'm not sure how this will affect my rats' health and longevity, they seem as happy and healthy as ever, but then again, I don't need to stress them out by cleaning their cage once a week, I can wait three weeks.
