Damaged right out of the box

Unfortunately the table top and table top are scratched right out of the box (see photo). It assembles easily except for one hole. The seat didn't match the leg but we managed to assemble it. The piece appears to be fairly solid, although the mirror mounts appear to be looser than the rest of the vanity. Unfortunately this is a Christmas present for my daughter and I don't have enough time to replace it. Luckily she is 4 years old and doesn't mind scratches.
