I used this cat condo to transport 3 feral kittens from San Antonio to a cat sanctuary in Colorado Springs. I decorated her apartment with toys, cat litter, cardboard catnip scratching posts, and put fluffy fabrics upstairs in the hammocks. They stayed perfectly calm and asleep, they had no trouble with the tray. I was concerned if it could support the weight of everything in it, including a full tray, while my fiancee and I carried it to the hotel. It was perfect. I've read the ventilation is poor but the side flaps open, the back flaps open and of course the front flaps expose the top of the mesh. So in my opinion the ventilation was perfect. I recommend this for a long trip while moving. I will be buying another one to carry my 5 adult cats when we move soon.
