These shoes are adorable and generally well made. My daughter loves them and wears them all the time including when she rides a bike (not recommended - I think she has irritation on her big toes and I assume she wears these shoes all the time no matter what they do - and no socks). Obviously they would be better suited for a dressier occasion and I think they would be a good choice for that - they are shiny and trendy enough. out of them. even though she's only had them for a few days, she's putting them to the test. They didn't even scratch. Though I wouldn't call them sturdy or hard like a good leather shoe or anything but I knew it wasn't what I ordered.
