Definitely not tight!

This set of bowls and utensils is disappointing. The silicone is good but thin. This makes the bowl and cup a little "flexible", which means that particularly thin lids can easily come off. Bowl and cup are by no means hermetic. The set is functional without the lid. The suction on the bowl works well, the utensils are heavy and the handles on the cup are comfortable to hold. Also, the blue color is very pretty. Really blue!
