So I ordered these gloves for multiple purposes. I wanted something for skating, especially getting up from possible falls that wouldn't stick to the ice, driving in winter (I find that's why I hate thick gloves), and general wear when I need to use my hands to write or for everyone different purpose (but they may fit other gloves). I've bought isotoners and glove liners in the past, but glove liners are often too thin for the wind to whip through, and isotoners have always felt too thick and didn't allow for much dexterity. They feel thicker than inner gloves and have a fluffy lining that keeps my hands warm compared to typical inner gloves. At the same time, they are thin enough that I can fully and normally bend my fingers, grip and use a pen or other object without losing the dexterity I might feel with isotonics. The gloves are not like yarn knit gloves with sticky fibers that cling to ice and in addition there are a few small rubberized beads inside to prevent them from sticking to ice and to provide some grip. which is lost when the glove material is smooth. Thus, these beads prevent getting stuck on ice and help hold the steering wheel. They also seem to absorb moisture so your hands don't get wet and cold when your hands get sweaty. The touchscreen aspect was also something I was looking for in this day and age. Most of us use touchscreen phones and sometimes need to be manipulated when doing things other than tablets and other devices I sometimes use in cold conditions. The touchscreen pads are positioned correctly and have adequate coverage, but are still a bit imprecise and do a great job with most functions on a tablet or large phone. But I have a small phone, and sometimes some apps' buttons are a little closer together than necessary, and more importantly, they're a bit difficult to use with my smartwatch. Compared to other similar gloves I've used, they're about the same, not worse. The last feature that I don't usually use that often is the mounting clip. The clip on them is plastic and can easily break. For me the clip is more of an annoyance than a feature, but as mentioned I don't use it often on gloves like this where it's easier to just roll them up like socks.
