Easier to use than the original remote
This remote replaced the factory remote on our Sony XBR-49X800D LED TV. In the box there were instructions on how to connect it to the TV. I just followed these instructions (unplug the original remote first) and the instructions on the TV screen and the device paired perfectly. This later version of the remote has the same buttons, and it's much easier to remove the back cover to change the batteries.
