I'm a college student who uses my laptop all the time (I know two majors don't have free time). I also have carpal tunnel problems from working on the computer so much and have found that using a mouse pad on my laptop only makes the pain worse. I bought it knowing it was chunky and hoping the clutch would help me. I've been using it for a few hours now and so far it's very comfortable! If you want something small then this isn't it, but if you want something you can actually grab then you'll love this mouse. It uses a double AA battery, we'll see how long it lasts. The mouse is very cute and although there is no instruction manual, I was able to easily figure out how to use it from the pictures here. The USB part that connects it to the computer is hidden in the belly next to the battery. Remove, insert batteries, plug in and you're done. No delays or anything like that!
