ZERO effort has gone into "updating" this product. The screen was dirty and the previous owner's login wasn't even cleared. Incredibly slow startup, which you wouldn't expect from a Chromebook. I am currently running it through "powerwash" to remove old users and restore factory settings. To be honest I expect this to be done before the product is sold as 'refurbished' but I have 3 months to make a decision before sending it back. To be honest, I'm not very hopeful with my impression of "out of the box". However, the product was well packaged in the original box and stabilization materials. If a factory reset improves boot times and I don't have any other issues, I'll probably keep it to myself. It's lightweight, has a comfortable (backlit) keyboard, and the touchscreen and mousepad are responsive. The screen brightness is below average, but it works well indoors.
