I take two pills about 30 minutes before my workout and actually I have a few different brands and I started rotating them day to day. So far I haven't felt any difference from brand to brand so I know this one performs on par with others I've used which is great. In the rating part in terms of stars, taste is a choice and I give it 5 stars even though they are in tablet form and you can't taste anything if you just swallow them. Just adding this in case anyone is wondering about the flavor of LoL
