Review on ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ TapHanger Picture Frame Mounting Kit by Rick Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not bad, and definitely lighter

The knobs that come with are a little flimsy if you're not careful and generally apply strong side forces to them, pushing them into the frame or pushing them into the wall, they can do just fine snap off in the middle but with a little care they work as advertised and they make it a lot easier to get frames exactly where you want them than fiddling with 3M hooks and picture wire. The only thing you should pay attention to is the frames with a denser enamel coating. Most of my (cheap wood) frames were just painted wood and they worked great, but one of my frames had some kind of tough enamel coating on the outside that nails didn't like going through. A piece of enamel broke off on the first try, just enough to poke through the small hole, but the first rivet snapped making the hole, leaving the back of the frame a little ruined. In the end, however, it worked.
