Review on Hubbell Raco 6236 Resistant Rectangular Receptacle by Jacob Ferrarini

Hubbell Raco 6236 Steel Box and Rectangular Brass Cover Purchased to replace the same item (single plug floor socket) which was worn and unsightly. Replacing the old unit and installing the new unit was quick and easy. The already installed steel box did not have to be replaced; In fact, only a new recessed rosette and brass cover were used. Also, no rubber gasket was used to protect the built-in receiver from moisture, as there is no moisture present at the exit point, and the installation of a brass liner without a gasket resulted in a tighter fit with the adjacent wooden floor.
