Review on Renewed HP Laserjet Pro M28w Wireless Printer with Copy & Scan Smart App Capability - W2G55A by Jnis Muinieks ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

I wanted to take my child a wi-fi printer to replace the 1102w, but I saw that the m15w is not much cheaper than the MFP, I decided that it would be more useful for the future of the MFP. I took it in M. Video for 10990, hoping for a coupon for 1000 received earlier, which was reckless, since the devil would break his leg in their promotions and, as usual, the promotion had already ended and the coupon was not valid. Once again I realized that it was not worth going to them. I cursed a lot on setting up the first evening, because there was no instruction in the kit, and I did everything as in the guide in the application. They said to connect the cable, I connected it, as a result, the printer got up, but you can only use the cable. I did not find how to reconfigure without removing the drivers. As a result, I experimentally found out that in order to set up work on the network, you need to act like this: 1. Connect the printer to electricity. 2. Press the WPS button on the router 3. Press the button with wi-fi on the MFP for 20 seconds, it will restart and hook on wi-fi (before this step, see the instructions). 4. Download the m28w basic driver from the hp website and install it on your PC. 5. During the installation process, when it asks whether to automatically configure, select the "manually" item and select network operation there. 6. Repeat steps 4-5 on all computers on the network. It is not clear what prevented hp from writing this in the manual.

Pros
  • Wi-fi, networking, compact, easy to set up, cactus can be plugged in, prints, scans
Cons
  • Disgusting instructions, nominal copier, everything is rather flimsy and snotty
