I would describe this shirt as slightly casual in every way. Based on the t-shirt that was sent to me, follow the chart for the correct size. This is by far the softest t-shirt I own. I love the feel of this shirt. As for shrinkage, expect it to shrink by about 0.25 inches on all measurements after the first wash and dry. The stitching is perfect and very strong. Overall: This is a great casual tee for the weekend. it is exceedingly soft. 5 Stars
