Review on PUPPIA International Puppia Harness XSmall by Alicia Moore

I love this harness! We already had the original Puppia harness, which goes over our dog's head and adjusts with a buckle around the waist, for our first dog. So when we needed to order another for our new rescue Pekingese, we ordered this style and also this style because I wanted to see which one worked better. This one is a clear winner! It's just as easy to put on as the original (if your dog is obedient enough to put two paws through two holes) and I love the fact that it doesn't ride all over his chest or put pressure on him. an armpit, like the other tourniquet. I also like that the leash holds two D-rings on the clasp. The only thing that was odd was the size: we ordered L in this one (based on his measurements) and M in the other and they both fit about the same. Measuring your dog is very important to find the right fit! Our dog is 11.5lbs and the L fits him very well with little neck room. It fit our 13-pound Pekingese like a glove and when I buckled it up there was room for two fingers, like checking the fit of a collar, but it looked a little tight around the neck. If I could change anything about this harness it would be to make the nylon easily adjustable on each side of the buckles, although I understand the double D ring design doesn't work. I plan to order another one in the next size up. for our slightly larger dog but I'm worried it will be too big as the L was so close. L was perfect for another! I'll let you know how it goes!
