After years of constant back pain, my aunt, a licensed physical therapist, looked at me. She told me that I have a weak shoulder muscle that causes my right shoulder to hang lower than it should. This was due to poor posture and a long outstretched arm (I work on the computer all day). She gave me advice and some simple exercises to ease the pain and build muscle. I'm quite a lazy person and I just can't do the exercises. I've been at my current job for about a year and decided I needed some relief. Many other reviewers have described the same pain as I have. So I tried this back brace based on the reviews. CONCLUSION: This bandage relieves my back pain. The brace restrains my right shoulder and prevents my weak muscles from becoming weaker and causing more pain. It's not uncomfortable and hides quite well under a single layer of clothing. As long as you put it on properly, you shouldn't feel any irritation from the scratchy side of the Velcro. This bandage not only helps with my weak shoulder blade muscles but also with my posture and supports my back. I've washed this bandage about 4 or 5 times and it's holding up. This is a very simple brace, but it brings so much relief to those with back problems. I used to twist and break my back to find relief. Now I just sit and do what I do. I no longer let my back pain rule me. If you have the same symptoms as me or other reviewers, I would highly recommend this brace!
