Review on Roadstar Towing Mirror Mirrors Passenger by Terence Dardant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product for the price but needs a bit of work.

Upgrade for my 2002 F250 7.3. There were two leveling tabs on the mirrors that I had to cut off. The mirror will not stay level until they are removed. I followed Zane's instructions. I just swapped a blue and white cable on both mirrors. When I connected the wiring, the turn signals came on when I turned on the cab lights. The cabin light comes on when I turn on the turn signal. So I just swapped the white and blue wires on the mirror connector. All the lights, even the red turn signals and engines worked. View from the side of the plugged wire 1. gray wire, heater positive 2. black/white striped wire (negative light and heater) 3. blue wire (turn signal, positive light, light comes on when turning left or right) 4 yellow wire (electric motor, Glass adjustment up or down) 5. Green wire (electric motor, common head) 6. Red wire (electric motor, glass adjustment left or right) 7. White wire (high beam, positive light. Lights up when driving)

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
