Good mirrors. 2005 Ford F-350. feeling of heaviness and strength. Solid mounts. No vibration. The mirror was good. Not wavy or distorted. Set up well. I replaced the rearview mirrors on a 2002 Ford Tour. The only modification needed was cutting a small plastic tab on the inside of the mirror mount, which didn't have a gap in the truck for it. After installing the mirrors, turn signals, heater and remote control work as expected. Landing is excellent, with no gaps. My truck: F350 year 2006. felt like they needed shims. I had to change the parking lights and indicators for different ones, but the color on my mirrors didn't match. The ones I moved were purple (maybe dark blue, top left side of fork) and orange with a white stripe (3rd from right, bottom row on fork). Upgrade for my 2002 F250 7.3. There were two leveling tabs on the mirrors that I had to cut off. The mirror will not stay level until they are removed. I followed Zane's instructions. I just swapped a blue and white cable on both mirrors. When I connected the wiring, the turn signals came on when I turned on the cab lights. The cabin light comes on when I turn on the turn signal. DO NOT CUT CABLES! For a cleaner and tidier installation, simply slide the factory pin into the connector. To do this, pull the small red latch out of the plug using needle-nosed pliers. You can then release the pins by gently sliding the small plastic retainer to one side and then pulling the wire out from the back. Insert the pen anywhere and lock it with the red locking tab. I like these mirrors. I had to hook up the turn signals, running lights, and heater wires, but it was pretty easy. I did find a fault in the system, although when tested there was a slight resistance on the passenger side wiring harness which caused the lights to turn off when that wire was live, but when that wire was not 'hot' .
