Review on Roadstar Towing Mirror Mirrors Passenger by Jonny Dogruyol

Great product needs some work

I like these mirrors. I had to hook up the turn signals, running lights, and heater wires, but it was pretty easy. I did find a fault in the system, although when tested there was a slight resistance on the passenger side wiring harness which caused the lights to turn off when that wire was live, but when that wire was not 'hot' . ", the light works as it should, if you need to know how to wire the lights look at this video and it will help https://youtu.be/ieRJQ2tzn88 but DO NOT follow his schematic, this is for another brand of towing mirrors , wiring harness for these mirrors: towing mirror wiring harnesses see side Wire entry 1. gray wire, plus heater 2. black wire (light and minus heater) 3. white wire (turn signal, plus light, light turns on when after rotated left or right) <skylight> 4. yellow wire (motor, glass adjustment up or down) 5. green wire (motor, common head) 6. red wire (motor, stack adjustment la left or right) 7. blue wire ( High beam, positive light. The light is on while driving) <lower bulb> On my 2000 f-350 Super Duty Lariat Super Duty Long Bed 7.3L Turbodiesel the left turn signal wire is behind the fuse box under the steering column and I had a green one with a white stripe and a right hand wire, next to it was the turn signal light and it was white with a blue stripe, the running light wire is brown throughout and is behind the light panel itself as for the heaters you need to run your wires to Switch and the black ground on the mirror wiring harness you have to fix on the door yourself, overall a great product, you only have about an hour of work if you have to connect it yourself.
